About Us

It all began with a pair of curtains.

When Zoë’s children were small, she wanted to make some curtains by hand. As she decided on fabric, she discussed her project with the owner of the shop. The owner, Barbara Collins, became her teacher, helping Zoë refine her skills.

Curtains and other soft furnishings turned into a career for Zoë and after leaving the police force, Zoë Knight Interiors was established.

Zoë is an exceptional craftswoman with a fine-eye for detail and creative flair. She maintains traditional values and skills alongside cutting edge techniques and innovations in design. Such is her passion for soft furnishings that she continues to learn and her ‘little black book’ of contacts is testament to her regular attendance at global industry events.

All of this is balanced with an innate understanding of room dynamics, be it a contemporary drawing room, opulent hotel suite or cosy den where the family relax.

Zoë enjoys helping new clients turn a vision into a reality with her practical, curious and kind approach.

Barbara Collins allowed her new pupil to work on that first pair of curtains in her studio rather than on the kitchen floor, as Zoë had initially intended.

Zoë has come a long way since then.
